Review – Five Pawns Bowden’s Mate
Five Pawns represents the absolute pinnacle in a refined vaping experience. Rich and complex flavors done just right to create a natural flavor that rarely lets you down. We decided to try some of their mint flavors to brighten our day and started with Bowden’s Mate
Manufacturer’s description
Inspired by the after-dinner mint, this flavorful chocolate is sharpened by crisp mint, ending with a touch of French Vanilla. Seductive yet soft, with a refreshing effervescent note.

Summary
Most Mint flavored vapes just end up tasting like a menthol cough drop and that has been enough to keep us clear of them for a long while. Now Five Pawns is expensive liquid, often pushing $1 per ml in stores but when we saw a deal for 71% off, we finally took the plunge.
The description pegs this flavor as an "after dinner mint" with a touch of french vanilla, and that sounds delightful, but near impossible to pull off. Not for Five Pawns, while the mint flavor is strong, it's very natural. On the forefront of the vape, but the vanilla and chocolate pulls through with a delicious finish. While we started off vaping it in the morning as a nice eye opener, after a few days we found that this vape makes the perfect night cap. The smooth and complex flavor really felt like the ending of a perfect day. It really did taste less like a peppermint candy, and more like a rich chocolate after dinner mint. Once again we were not disappointed in Five Pawns. I'd recommend keeping a bottle on hand to relax after a long day or enjoy on a crisp night.
We vaped Five Pawns Bowden's Mate on an RDA and recommend a medium-high temperature to really bring out the vanilla notes.
